Nic, Emmy, and crew were so much fun! Amazing vintage chic details at one of my favorite venues. I met these two in college and was super excited to get to play this role in their big day. It was quite the party from beginning to end, full of photogenic people!

Hello gorgeous! Can’t take a bad photo of this girl! We did Emmy’s bridal shoot around the OKC Public Farmer’s Market, where they also got married. (Wedding photos are up next on the blog!) Her chic vintage lace dress fit perfectly with all the details of the day that I can’t wait for everyone to see! Definitely loving the statement necklace, and the pop of coral from her shoes.

If you have a boudoir shoot planned with me, or if you’re considering one, here’s a more extensive look at a full shoot! Boudoir shoots are most successful when it done is a space with plenty of natural light, such as a bedroom with generous windows. Ms. L’s room was perfect for this, but it’s also a great idea to book a nice hotel room or interesting venue.

This classy lady is one of my best friends and a very talented photographer. She needed some new professional head shots as she updates her business brand this year. I’m always flattered when a fellow photographer asks me to take pictures. Hillary and Tyler have been friends of mine since college and just had their first baby. I LOVE it when couples get creative with their newborn session, and use props that represent their personality. Cora’s daddy is an optometrist!
If you’re expecting, make sure to schedule your newborn pictures well in advance, because you’ll get the best photos within the first week of life. That is when babies sleep the most and are therefore the most cooperative with being positioned. I’m happy to set set a flexible date with you for newborn photos since exact birthdays are obviously highly unpredictable!
