Had a great time shooting my very creative friends’ wedding! Jeff is an OKC firefighter, so he and Marianne used an awesome antique firetruck as their “getaway car” after their wedding and reception at the modern event space Sector 614 in downtown OKC. Super photogenic couple!

Laura should go into wedding planning or something. Every single detail of this super-organized bride’s day was pure perfection, not to mention the awesome weather (not sure how they did that!), fun family and friends, and the fact that the camera loved this couple! The whole event was held on Daniel’s parents’ land in Thackerville, Oklahoma. They’d been busy all weekend setting up the whimsical entry way and stage that made me feel like I had stumbled into a flee market in Alice’s Wonderland.

Fellow photographers Jon Ervin, Clifton Roberts, and I went down to Thunderbird Lake in Norman with models Ashley and Crystal. Despite the unfortunate lack of bug spray, we had so much fun scouting the area, taking casual photos, and hanging out. For me, this shoot was inspired by current fashion catalog trends that use a low-fi photography style, like Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. These are all digital, so the film quality and color toning was created in post processing. (The Mamiya belongs to Clifton!)

I had the opportunity to photograph FUN. at their Diamond Ballroom concert in Oklahoma City. They were… well… “fun” to watch to say the least!
