Had so much fun exploring the Oklahoma countryside with Lauren and Ryan during their engagement session! They were darling. Loved their bright, summery outfits!

Free Tulsa is an annual music festival in Tulsa Oklahoma. I had the opportunity to attend again this year and got some photos of some of my favorite locals!

I’m glad I didn’t have to wait long to share these bridals of Meredith! So gorgeous! She and Ryan got married in June and moved across the country just a few days after this shoot. See their wedding post here.

Laura should go into wedding planning or something. Every single detail of this super-organized bride’s day was pure perfection, not to mention the awesome weather (not sure how they did that!), fun family and friends, and the fact that the camera loved this couple! The whole event was held on Daniel’s parents’ land in Thackerville, Oklahoma. They’d been busy all weekend setting up the whimsical entry way and stage that made me feel like I had stumbled into a flee market in Alice’s Wonderland.

Fellow photographers Jon Ervin, Clifton Roberts, and I went down to Thunderbird Lake in Norman with models Ashley and Crystal. Despite the unfortunate lack of bug spray, we had so much fun scouting the area, taking casual photos, and hanging out. For me, this shoot was inspired by current fashion catalog trends that use a low-fi photography style, like Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. These are all digital, so the film quality and color toning was created in post processing. (The Mamiya belongs to Clifton!)

Catie and I are always up for a fun, fashionesque photo shoot in unique locations. Just another Tuesday evening for us!

The Weathered may be a new name, but it’s members are no stranger to the Oklahoma City music scene. Tyler, Shaun, Jon, Josh, and Adam have been in their share of rock outfits, so I’m excited to see where this takes them! I recently had the opportunity to do a promo shoot for the guys- here’s a few favorites!

Dallas is an easy weekend getaway destination for us here in Oklahoma City. I make frequent trips there, whether for a concert, a visit to IKEA, or just for fun! My best friend Cassie and I drove down recently and attended a red dirt music festival.

On the way to the festival, we found a awesome field that we couldn’t pass up the chance to shoot in. The sun was just setting and gave us great light. (The photos of me were taken by Cassie.)

As promised- the tale of Marianne and Jeff’s engagement shoot adventure! They were walking through a field, minding their own business, when… THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAPPENED! No zombies were actually harmed during the making of this series (because we all know that a head shot is required for permanent damage).
