Mad Manhattan is the new project of a good friend and very talented musician, Jon King. (This guy of multiple talents also designed my current portfolio website!) I hung out for one of their band practices to get some shots as they move toward preparing the record. Check out the first single “Shadow Talk” on their Facebook Page. Members pictured are Jonathan King (vocals, guitar), Jeremy Irons (keys), Cody Bass (drums), and Carlton Dorsey (bass).

Paperscissor had their EP release at The Conservatory in Oklahoma City, and they put on their usual high energy show! Tracks from “Dream Cure Magic Attack” can be heard on their Facebook Page. The OK Gazette even did a writeup about the band before the release, which can be read here. I was excited to have them publish promo photos I took for the band with the article. The guys will be playing a set at Free Tulsa at the end of July, so if you’re planning on going- check them out!

Lovedrug
March 12, 2012
The Conservatory, OKC
There are some bands that I think I could listen to live for hours. Lucky for me, Lovedrug continues to make stops in Oklahoma City at The Conservatory. Despite the low lighting challenges, I pulled a few faves from the show to share!
They just released a new album, which they are touring now. Check out some of the singles on Spotify:
