Chelsey & Matt first met working at Devon, and now here they are engaged! We did their shoot around downtown OKC focusing on bright and summery scenery.

Some of the best weddings come out of a solid vision and working with top-notch local vendors to bring it to life. Jessica was inspired by the class and style of the Great Gatsby. We started at the Colcord Hotel in downtown OKC, where everyone was getting ready. The ceremony and reception took place on the rooftop of The Caliber, which has always been one of my favorite venues for it’s uniqueness and location. Planning and some florals were done by the amazing Emerson Events and Design. Other vendors include Nexus Entertainment & Cheevers Catering.

I love this shoot. I’ve know Evan and Lindsey since high school and have loved getting to know them better over the last several years. Evan is no stranger to the blog, as I’ve photographed his bands and concerts countless times, so it was neat working with them in this capacity and seeing how great they look together! They brought musical and artsy props that we had tons of fun with in this beautiful natural location by Lake Overholser.

Being a photographer is like an all access pass to some of the most special moments in life. I had the privilege of photographing the engagement of my friends Caleb & Hannah- where he proposed at Vast, 726 feet in the air, atop the Devon tower, with the gorgeous downtown OKC backdrop. Under the guise of Hannah’s birthday dinner, she was totally surprised! CONGRATS YOU TWO!!! Can’t wait to shoot your WEDDING!!

Sometimes, in the middle of all the craziness, everything just works out. Amie and Tyler planned a fun and colorful wedding in the backyard of her parents house in Prague, OK. They are a super sweet couple and I felt honored to be able to document their wedding and all the creativity and love that came with it. They had handmade DIY details, their bridal party (and about everyone under 20) did a flash mob dance down the isle, and Amie and Tyler sang a duet during the ceremony!
